The full-service carrier of India, Vistara earlier received its first Airbus A321neo to give wings to future international operations. The joint venture between TATA group and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) ordered 50 Airbus A321neo back in 2018, and recently the airline received its first aircraft on July 24, 2020, from Airbus production facility based in Hamburg, Germany. Now, Vistara has become the first airline in entire South Asia to offer lie-flat beds on a narrow-body aircraft. Also, with the addition of new aircraft in its fleet, Vistara is gearing up to expand its international operations in difficult times.
Cabin Products of A321neo Will Offer Premium Class Experience
Leslie Thng, who is the Cheif Executive Officer of Vistara, stated that the addition of Airbus A321neo in their fleet shows the long-term commitment to international expansion plans. Even in challenging times, Vistara received its first delivery of Airbus A321neo which will offer a premium and world-class experience to travellers from and to India.
Vistara Received Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Earlier This Year
Vistara has been adding different aircraft for hassle-free international operations. The airline recently added Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which has the capacity of flying both long and medium-haul flights. Apart from this, the addition of Airbus A321neo is suitable for medium-haul flights to international destinations. Now with a variety of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, Vistara is gearing up to expand its international operations.
Airbus A321neo has Three-Class Cabin Configuration
Leslie Thng also stated that Airbus A321neo ensures operational enhancement, cost-effectiveness as well as a reduction in carbon footprints which aligns with the international growth operations of the airline. Vistara Airbus A321neo aircraft has classic three-class cabin configuration. The aircraft has 188 seats in which 152 seats are reserved for Economy class, 24 to premium Economy and 12 to business class. All the seats have in-seat power/ USB charging ports. Apart from this, the aircraft has wireless connectivity which will allow the passengers to access the internet. However, the feature is subjected to regulatory approvals.
