Vistara and Axis Bank Join Hands to Launch Axis Bank Club Vistara Forex Card

Axis Bank and India’s full-service carrier Vistara airlines joined hands to launch forex card. Dubbed as ‘Axis Bank Club Vistara Forex Card’, this is the first co-branded initiative between a bank and an airline. The passenger can add up to 16 currencies, has locked-in exchange rates and it can accrue three CV points for every USD 5 spent on the card.

A host of benefits on Axis Bank Club Vistara Forex Card

The card comes with unique travel features and benefits for the travellers. The reward structure on this card is designed to offer flexibility and safety to customers.

The customers would get 500 CV points as a welcome bonus. Those passengers who avail Axis Bank Club Vistara Forex Card are eligible for a Base membership to Club Vistara. The earned Vistara points can be redeemed on tickets starting at 2000 CV. Every transaction on the card would result in obtaining Club Vistara points.

In case, if the traveller chooses to travel on partner airlines such as United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Silk Air or Japan Airlines, the Club Vistara members can earn and redeem CV Points.

The passengers can retain the balance and convert it to other currencies for the next journey. They may also choose to withdraw as cash. The card provides emergency services via TripAssist.

Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, Vinod Kannan expressed his delight in partnering with Vistara. “We are also proud to be the first Indian airline to offer a co-branded forex card. It is also in line with our broader strategy of forging more partnerships with like-minded brands to offer maximum choice and convenience to our customers,” he said.

“One can shop and dine globally without worrying about high exchange rates and transaction charges, and also earn Club Vistara Points on the same. We are confident that this forex card with a host of benefits will be a valuable addition to our growing portfolio of products and an attractive proposition for customers,” Ravi Narayanan, President & Head Branch Banking, Retail Liabilities & Products, Axis Bank responded.

Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA). Started in 2015, it connects several destinations across India and abroad.
