Total Approved Hand- Baggage
For Vistara flights, since there are a lot of class options available for the passengers there are many options for hand-baggage as well. Vistara has noted that passengers will be allowed 7kg in Economy Class, 10kg in Premium Economy, 12kg in Business Class in its domestic flights as hand baggage. Whereas in its international flights, the passengers will be allowed 7kg in Economy Class, 10kg in Premium Economy and 12kg in Business Class. It is also crucial to note that children are entitled to the same cabin baggage allowance as adults.
As an add-on service, the complimentary Carry-On Plus service allows all CV Gold and Platinum members to carry a total of 12 kg as Hand Baggage, irrespective of the cabin/fare booked, on both domestic and international flights.

Total Approved Check-in Baggage
The total maximum approved check-in baggage on Vistara flights is limited to 35kg. However, in various classes and fare options, the total check-in baggage limit varies. In Economy class, the passengers will be allowed 15kg in both Lite and Standard fares, whereas they will be allowed 20kg in Flexi fare option. In Premium Economy, the baggage options across Lite, Standard and Flexi are 20kg, 25kg and 30kg respectively. Lastly, in Business Class, across Lite, Standard and Flexi, the baggage allowance would be 30kg, 35kg and 40kg.

For international flights of Vistara to Dubai and Singapore, in Economy class, the airline will allow 30kg, 30kg and 35 kg across Lite, Standard and Flexi. In Premium Economy, the baggage allowance would be bumped up to 35kg, 35kg and 40kg across Lite, Standard and Flexi option. Lastly, in Business Class, the passengers will be allowed 40kg, 40kg and 45kg respectively across Lite, Standard and Flexi.

Vistara has also noted that CV Silver, Gold and Platinum members will get 5, 10 and 15 kg extra respectively, over and above the mentioned weight limit for both domestic and international flights. Excess Baggage
Every once in a while, it is possible that you might carry more luggage than allowed on an airline. In those cases, you might be required to pay extra for kgs that are over the allowed limit. The pricing for excess baggage on Vistara for domestic flights is Rs 500 per kg for Economy Class, Rs 500 per kg in Premium Economy Class, and also Rs 500 per kg for Business Class as well. For international flights to Dubai and Singapore, the passengers will have to pay 12 USD per kg of excess baggage.
