Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Added to Meet Surge in Travel Demand
During the time of global crisis, people have been stuck away from their homes. Since the time commercial flights have started again, demand for air travel has surged. Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, Vinod Kannan said that the airline is more than happy to add more flights to help people reach their loved ones. This is the reason behind why Vistara has added its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner into the Delhi-Kolkata route. Vistara is optimistic about the future of flying and is doing the best it can for making the flights as safe as possible for its customers.
Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was also used for flying essential cargo during the lockdown. But this flight from Delhi to Kolkata using 787-9 Dreamliner marks it as the first commercial flight using the aircraft from Vistara.
Along with this, Vistara is taking multiple measures to reduce contact between passengers and the airline staff. No onboard meal will be provided to the passengers and with that, web check-in has been made mandatory. Passengers will need to print their boarding passes and baggage tags and they cannot carry more than one check-in bag. For the carry-on bags, only one piece of bag is allowed. Every passenger must have the Aarogya Setu app in their devices with a green certification.
