With Cabin Upgrades, Vistara will make sure that their passengers experience the benefits of India’s only Premium Economy Cabin which will include seating in a cabin closer towards the front part of Aircraft, extra space for a comfortable journey, complimentary priority services, gourmet food including Starbucks coffee and many. Not only this the carrier will also allow the passengers to upgrade their tickets to business class at a nominal upgrade fee which will include ultra-comfortable leather seats with as much as 40” seat pitch and 7” seat recline, exclusive lounge access at Delhi’s T3, enhanced baggage allowance and many more. Passengers who have opted for the cabin upgrade service will also get the option to upgrade one flight or multiple flights. Also, an automatic refund will be made to the passengers within 5 days of the flight departure if the cabin upgrade is not successful. No action has to be done by passengers to initiate the refund process.
How to Upgrade Your Flight?
If the passengers want to avail the cabin upgrades services, they have to book their Economy or Premium Economy flight tickets and select the Upgrade your Flight option by entering their booking details (PNR or booking reference, passenger last name and Email) to retrieve their booking. In case if the passengers don’t have their PNR handy, they can use the advance search to retrieve their booking with flight details. After entering the desired details, passengers must select their concerned flight and pay a small Sign-up and upgrade fees to get the cabin upgrade. After the payment is made successfully if the passengers get the notification of Confirmed Upgrade their tickets will be immediately upgraded to Business class or Premium Economy Class as per their request. If the passengers get the option of Standby upgrade, they will be notified via Email about their cabin upgrade status. Usually, it will take 1 to 3 working days but confirmed status would be disclosed by the carrier one hour before the flight departure. However, if the upgrade is not successful refund process will start immediately.
Things you must know about Vistara Cabin Upgrade
Passengers who’ve opted for cabin upgrades must know that all the fares paid by them will be inclusive of all applicable taxes. Customers at the airport must carry an official Govt approved photo Identification if they’re boarding in domestic flights. The carrier has noted that passenger identification will be mandatory throughout the journey. Once the upgrade is confirmed no further changes will be allowed by the carrier. Also, in case of no show base fares will be forfeited and only tax amount will be refundable. Vistara has also noted that all the cabin upgrades will be subject to availability in the designated class and they will reserve the right to withdraw or revise the service without any prior notice. Passengers must note that Vistara cabin Upgrade will be applicable in India and all the flight schedules and timings will be subjected to regulatory approvals and will be revised without any advance notice.
