Under the air bubble agreement between India and Europe, Vistara has commenced a new non-stop flight service between Paris and Delhi. On Sunday, Vistara operated its first flight from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport to Charles De Gaulle airport, Paris. According to a PTI report, the full-service carrier will operate two flights a week between the said route on Sunday and Wednesday.
Vistara will be using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for the Delhi-Paris flight. Paris has become the seventh international destination for Vistara under the air bubble agreement. Other destinations include Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, London, Frankfurt, and Male.
"We are delighted to expand our global footprint as we bring India's finest airline to Paris," said Vistara Chief Executive Officer, Leslie Thng.
"Given the strong economic and cultural ties there is a high demand for direct connectivity between India and France, and therefore Paris fits our network very well," Thng added.
