Vistara and United Airlines has signed a codeshare agreement, enabling United Airlines to codeshare on Vistara-operated Indian domestic flights. The partnership will also allow the customers of both carriers to earn and redeem frequent flier miles.

With this new arrangement, more than 20 flights of Vistara flights will add ‘UA’ designator code. The partnership will open more than 20 destinations to United passengers across India, primarily Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The codeshare agreement is awaiting authority approvals, and hence, the ticket sales by this agreement will only begin later this year.
