Vistara has been named the Best Airline in India and also Southern Asia in 2021 by Skytrax. For the unaware, Skytrax is an international air transport rating organisation. It recently organised the World Airline Awards 2021. Not only this, but as per the votes received from global travellers, Vistara has jumped to become the 28th best airline amongst 350 global airlines. Vistara has made long strides to gain new heights. In 2018, the full-service carrier stood at the 86th position. While in 2019, Vistara had jumped to the 69th position. Coming in the top 30 airlines around the globe in 2021 is surely a big feat for Vistara. Additionally, Vistara also won the award for ‘Best Cabin Crew in India & Southern Asia’, besides getting ranked the highest in India for Cabin Cleanliness.

The World Airline Awards are independent and impartial, introduced in 1999 to provide a customer satisfaction study that was truly global. Travellers across the world vote in the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to decide the award winners. The awards are referred to by media around the world as “the Oscars of the aviation industry”.
