With a view of enhancing convenience for its passengers and to make sure they have a pleasant journey, SpiceJet, a budget carrier, has brought on-board a premium economy experience with its SpiceMax feature.

What is SpiceMax?

SpiceMax allows the passengers to avail extra benefits by paying a nominal add-on fee. For passengers who are looking for more comfort but don’t want to burn a hole in their pockets, SpiceMax seems to be an apt choice. SpiceMax seats would be available on SpiceJet’s Boeing 737 fleet and The Bombardier Q400 fleet, with the Boeing 737 having 30 SpiceMax seats and The Bombardier Q400 having 4 SpiceMax seats.

What are the Benefits of SpiceMax ?

SpiceJet customers opting for SpiceMax would enjoy premium benefits such as significantly extra leg-room on board than those without SpiceMax. SpiceMax clients would enjoy best-in-class leg-room with almost 6 inches of extra leg space than the standard seats, enough space for them to work or relax comfortably on longer flights. In addition to extra leg-room, SpiceMax would also provide to its customers a complimentary meal and beverage from the available choices. Other than that, the customers choosing SpiceMax would also be eligible for priority check-in.

SpiceJet customers who do not like standing in long queues at the airport to obtain their boarding pass can just opt for SpiceMax and avail a priority check-in and procure their boarding pass without having to wait. SpiceMax would also be advantageous to the passengers by giving them another benefit of priority baggage delivery so that their check-out is fast and convenient.

SpiceMax Nominal Add-On Fee

SpiceMax seats can be availed at a modest add-on fee of Rs 600 to Rs 1200 per sector depending on the aircraft and the flight-length. Flyers can book SpiceMax seats by simply selecting SpiceMax seats during the booking process online and paying the corresponding add-on fee.

They can be bought up to one hour prior to departure for domestic sectors and up to three hours prior for international sectors through the official website of SpiceJet or by calling their 24X7 reservations at their Airport Ticketing Counters or through the client’s preferred travel agent.
