The airline, AirAsia India has announced that it would be operating two new daily flights between Delhi and Hyderabad starting February 1 as part of its expansion plans. Not only this, but AirAsia’s expansion plans will involve the introduction of more domestic flights in India. Some of these new flights which AirAsia will probably launch in the coming days will include connectivity between New Delhi and Srinagar, Pune.
AirAsia has announced the schedule of its new flights connecting New Delhi and Hyderabad. The new AirAsia flights will depart from New Delhi at 6:05 AM and 5:50 PM. As for the return flights from Hyderabad, the flights to New Delhi would depart at 8:45 AM and 8:25 PM, the airline noted in its release. As for the other AirAsia flights between New Delhi and Srinagar, the airline announced that it would depart at 12:15 PM and the other flight from New Delhi to Pune will depart at 10:55 PM, respectively. Subsequently, the return flights from Srinagar and Pune will be at 2:00 PM and 1:30 AM respectively. To recall, as its India expansion plan, AirAsia India had introduced a new Chennai Hyderabad flight towards the end of December 2018.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia India, Sunil Bhaskaran, said "These new connections are a testimony to our commitment 'Now Everyone Can Fly'. We recently announced the much-awaited connection between Bengaluru and Mumbai and hope to open out Mumbai to several other cities on our network, offering affordable fares to our guests."
AirAsia has also announced that the booking for these new flights which will first take off on February 1st will begin on January 10, 2019. Further, the airline also revealed that travellers will be able to avail a fare as low as Rs 1,999 for flights between Hyderabad and Delhi and Rs 2,499 and Rs 2,699 for flights to Srinagar and to Pune respectively. The interested flyers will be able to book tickets from AirAsia Mobile App and AirAsia official website.
