AirAsia India’s Operations in Lucknow Flagged off in a Grand Manner
Shri Yogi Adityanath, Honourable Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation and Mr Sunil Bhaskaran, MD & CEO, AirAsia India, flag off AirAsia India's operations in Lucknow.
- Lucknow is now the 18th airport in the AirAsia India network.
- Shri Scindia: MoCA allotted 63 routes to Uttar Pradesh under UDAN and to be increased to 108 in future.
- Shri Scindia: Uttar Pradesh to have 5 International Airports.
AirAsia India commenced its operations from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, making Lucknow the 18th airport in the AirAsia India network. Shri Yogi Adityanath, Honourable Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation and Mr Sunil Bhaskaran, MD & CEO, AirAsia India, flagged off AirAsia India’s operations in Lucknow today. The occasion was marked by the presence of government officials including General (Dr.) VK Singh (Retd.) – Minister of State Civil Aviation, Shri Rajiv Bansal – Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Smt. Usha Padhee – Joint Secretary, MoCA, Shri. S.P. Goyal – Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Uttar Pradesh.
