Earlier in February, Alliance Air and ATR signed an agreement to acquire two ATR 42-600 via lessor TrueNoord. The aircraft will help Alliance Air serve the challenging airfields in the Himalayas.
On the eve of 15th August, the airline announced deploying an ATR 42-600 on the Delhi Kullu via Chandigarh route. Now, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the airline has announced the recommencing of services on the Delhi - Shimla - Delhi route. The second ATR 42 gets deployed on this route.

Alliance Air operates daily direct flights on the Delhi - Shimla - Delhi route from 6th September 2022. The route will be operated on a brand new ATR 42-600, and the travel duration is around 70 minutes. Tickets are open for booking on Alliance Air website.

Alliance Air Now Flies Direct Between Chennai and Mysuru
The airline started flying direct between Chennai and Mysuru on 12th August 2022, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Chennai Mysuru route is served by an ATR-72.
The ATR 42-600 aircraft will be able to operate on the short runways of the Shimla and Kullu airports, both located at high altitudes and exposed to high temperatures. With this, the airline will be able to progress with its vision of connecting the New India.
