Carry-On Allowance
So you can carry one personal free item onboard. But there are different rules revolving around different cabin classes of the airline. For the economy class, passengers can carry 1 bag up to 15 pounds (7 kgs) for free. As for the Business and First class of the airline, passengers can carry up to 2 bags with a combined weight of 26 pounds (12 Kgs) for free. Etihad baggage policy for also states size restrictions for the bags. Personal bags should be — (15.3 x 9 x 7.5) inches or (39 x 23 x 19) cm up to 11 pounds (5 kgs) in weight. For the standard bags, the size restrictions are — (22 x 14.2 x 9) inches or (56 x 36 x 23) cm.
According to the Lap Infant Carry-On Policy, you can carry 1 additional cabin bag with up to 11 pounds (5kgs) for free. Be sure to check the airline's stroller policy if you are carrying one for your infant.

Etihad Baggage Policy for Checked Baggage
Again, there are different baggage policies for Etihad Economy, Business, and First class. Let’s start with the Economy class. For the airline’s economy class, passengers can take up to 50 pounds (23 kgs) for free. In the Economy Saver and Class class, you can carry up to 60 pounds (35 kgs) for free. Coming to the Business Class of the airline, you can carry up to 88 pounds (40 kgs) for free. For the First class, the free limit is up to 110 pounds (50 kgs). But for the Residence of the airline, you can carry up to 4 bags with a combined 70 pounds (32 kgs) for free.
Etihad baggage policy also states the dimensions of the checked baggage. For all the passengers travelling to/from Canada and the US the dimensions are — 62 inches (158 cm) / (27.5 x 19.7 x 15) inches or (70 x 50 x 38) cm.
But if you are travelling from any other destination of the world apart from Canada and the US, then the dimensions of the baggage should be — 81.7 inches (207 cm) / (35.4 x 28.3 x 17.7) inches or (90 x 72 x 45) cm.

Excess Baggage Fees
Etihad baggage policy also states that you have to pay a fee for any extra baggage that you carry with yourself.
