Singapore Airshow, Asia’s largest and most influential international aerospace and defence exhibition, will take place at Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore, from February 15-18, 2022. This is the eighth edition of its programme. Its proprietary rewards programme AeroPerks features uniquely local and sustainable brands and extends the programme to anyone working or studying in Singapore’s aerospace industry.
This means that AeroPerks will be made available to staff of all ACRA-registered aerospace companies in Singapore, students and faculty staff of aerospace-related courses in Singapore’s institutes of higher education. This extension is supported by the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore), Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), Changi Airport Group (CAG), Ministry of Defence, Singapore (MINDEF) and Ministry of Transport (MOT).
“The intention to include local and sustainable brands is to showcase some of our most inspiring products and services to our international visitors,” according to Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director, Experia Events Pte Ltd, organiser of Singapore Airshow. It also shows the venture’s commitment to sustainable solutions.
“The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has heavily battered the aerospace industry. As Singapore Airshow gears up to welcome visitors next February, we hope this exclusive extension will boost morale and encourage Singapore’s aerospace industry to maintain its resilience during the long runway to recovery ahead,” he added.
Singapore Airshow 2022 participation based on a by-invite basis
AeroPerks showcases brands predominantly across six categories: attractions, experiences, food and beverages, hotels, retail, and wellness. Some known brands include Bamboo Straw Girl, Jewel Changi Airport, New World’s End, Open Farm Community, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, Sony, The Shirt Bar and Wheniwasfour.
Eligible beneficiaries can redeem AeroPerks via an e-voucher distributed through supporting industry partners. Unless otherwise stated by specific offerings, AeroPerks can be redeemed between 15 December 2021 to 15 March 2022.
In the wake of the rising COVID-19 Omicron threat, Singapore Airshow 2022 will be organised on a by-invite basis. All attendees will be required to adhere to travel requirements and safe management measures stipulated by Singapore’s authorities.
