Now, Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons’ jointly owned airline has launched a new offer which would please the customers who are planning to fly on Vistara flights. This offer concerns extra baggage charges, on which the flyers will be able to avail a discount. Economy Lite passengers will be allowed to carry only one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 15kgs, however, excess baggage will have to be purchased by the passengers.

There are also offers on pre-purchasing excess baggage under Vistara Freedom Fares. It is worth noting that in an usual scenario where you need to carry excess baggage, you will pay for the extra baggage at the airport at the standard charge of Rs 500 per kg, however on pre-booking your excess baggage you will be able to save a lot as you will only have to pay Rs 2,000 for 5 Kgs of extra baggage, Rs 3,500 for 10 Kgs of extra baggage and Rs 5,000 for 15 Kgs of extra baggage. Vistara has also noted that when you pre-book excess baggage then your booking is also automatically updated and you won’t have to go through the hassle of paying at the airport for your excess-baggage.
