It makes perfect sense that any airline which will be operating commercial flights today will be much more strict with the safety laws. AirAsia Malaysia is back on the sky again with flying commercial flights. The flights have started from April 29. Now, passengers need to be very careful about how they are going to the airport. Without a face mask, you won’t be allowed to board the plane. The mask has to be worn by the passenger during entering the airport, exiting it, boarding the plane, collecting the boarding pass, and collecting baggage at the destination airport. AirAsia is stepping up its health security guidelines during the global pandemic, and if you don’t follow the rules, you won’t be allowed to board.
Customer’s Responsibility to Travel Safe
AirAsia chief safety officer, Captain Ling Liong Tien said that it is customers responsibility to ensure that he/she is eligible for travelling in the first place. If you are not healthy, don’t travel. When you feel sick and travel, you risk not only your health but also many others. So before booking either a domestic or international flight, ensure that you are healthy. Customers need to practice high personal hygiene.
New Flying Policies are Settling In The Airline
AirAsia Malaysia used to allow two pieces of baggage earlier. But now, the limit has been decreased to only one bag per person, and the weight limit of the luggage should not be more than 7Kg. Now, the passenger needs to arrive at the airport at least three hours before the scheduled flight time so that every safety process can be completed comfortably. Guest handling procedures have been taken care of by the airline, both while onboard and on the ground. The airline is working closely with the airport authorities in ensuring that everyone who steps into the airport and then the aircraft is not risking his or others health. The flights from the airline have only been opened for select routes for now.
