Kempegowda International Airport is the Third Safest in the Country

According to the Safe Travel Barometer, the Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore, is the third safest for the passengers to travel to/from in India. The airport is only behind the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja International Airport, Mumbai, and the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.

As per the Safe Travel Barometer, the Bangalore International Airport scored 4 out of 5. While the other two airports on top each scored 4.3. Followed by the Bangalore airport is the Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune airport on the list within India.

A thing worth noting is that at the Bangalore airport, more than 20 travel and health measures are in place. Some of these measures include social distancing, COVID-19 screening, temperature checking, face masks, PPE kits for staff, and more.

What’s interesting is that in the top of the Safe Travel Barometer list are airports with a score of 4.4 all around the world. These top airports include Singapore Changi Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Heathrow Airport, Hamad International Airport, and Dubai International Airport.

Quad Food and Beverages Plaza Now Open

Quad is a first of its kind food and beverages plaza which used to buzz with people before the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world. Its services were later paused when the country went into a lockdown. But now, days after the resumption of the Bangalore Airport, the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) reopened the F&B plaza for the travellers and just last Saturday a group called The Moksha Academy All Stars performed at the Quad.
