Emirates has started first-class services on the Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram route from February 6, 2022, making it the first airline to offer first-class services to the said destination. First-class services would imply superior products, comfortable amenities and services on-ground and on-air, among other premium facilities.

“This is the newest addition in the passenger amenity improvement efforts of Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Limited,” a statement from the Adani Group said. The first passengers of the Emirates first-class flight that took off on February 6 from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai were greeted with traditional ‘ponnada’ (shawl).

Emirates is deploying wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to Trivandrum, with a three-class cabin configuration – offering eight seats in first class, 42 seats in business class and 185 spacious seats in economy class. The flight Emirates EK 523 will depart Trivandrum at 4.30 pm and reach Dubai at 7.15 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The return flight Emirates EK 522 will depart Dubai at 9.40 pm, and land at Thiruvananthapuram airport at 3.10 am the following day.

Tickets for Emirates Dubai-Trivandrum flight can be booked on Emirates’ website or via travel agents.
