GoAir, one of the largest low-cost carriers of India, has announced its direct flight service from India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is worth noting that these flights will operate from multiple Indian destinations but will all fly to one destination of UAE, Sharjah. These new GoAir direct flights between India and UAE are slated to start today, i.e., January 1, 2020. As per a PTI report, the announcement of these new flights was made by GoAir on Thursday. GoAir Direct Flights to UAE
For the unaware, all of the international flights are being operated under an air bubble agreement between two nations. It is the same with India and the UAE. All of the GoAir flights between India and UAE will be operated under an air bubble agreement. The international flights have been suspended since March 23, 2020, now.
Like mentioned above, GoAir will be operating international flights to UAE from multiple destinations of India. These destinations include Mumbai, Kannur, Kochi, and Delhi. The schedule for the flight service between the two countries has been designed to offer flexibility to the passengers.
The CEO of GoAir, Kaushik Khona, said that the airline had noticed a good response from the passengers travelling in the India-UAE route. He further said that the demand for air travel on the route is only rising. Thus GoAir has started this flight service to benefit from the rising demand for air travel between India and UAE.
GoAir is offering flights in the route (India-UAE) at a special introductory return fare of Rs 11,560. This is one of the cheapest fares for the route that any passenger can get in India.
In Another news, GoAir has been actively adding in new flights. Much recently the airline added a new direct domestic flight service connecting Mumbai and Coimbatore. The airline has already started operating in this route. More such low-cost direct flights are expected to come from GoAir shortly.
