Reportedly, GoAir has asked two of the giant airlines - Airbus and Boeing, for placing bids on total 20 widebodies and 200 narrow-body aircraft's. Commenting on this, the Managing Director of GoAir, Jeh Wadia said that the low-cost carrier (LCC) had planned on adding one new aircraft every month in the future to its fleet of aircraft.
Goair Is Mulling over the Wide-body Operations
Reportedly, GoAir is currently operating thirty-seven A320-200neo aircraft and sixteen A320-200s aircraft's. It also has a 107 A320neo which they have ordered from Airbus. The Low-Cost Airline is also looking for selling its A320ceo and A320neo and replacing them with wide-body aircraft in the future. Even though it has been deciding on its course for starting wide-body aircraft operations, it has made no official comments about the future of it. Its rival, IndiGo airlines are trying to enter the league as well, but even they have not made any official comments about it.
