As it attempts to fill positions ahead of its launch, Jet Airways has had a significant response to its job posting for cabin crew personnel. Although the airline hasn't formally stated when operations would resume, it is most likely to start flying again soon.

Jet is looking to fill a number of positions in the lead-up to its launch, and it appears that recruiting people won't be a problem.

Within five hours of being posted online, a job advertisement from Jet Airways attracted more than 700 resumes with only one social media post. Several Jet employees protested in the streets after the carrier shut down in 2019 and called for just pay and perhaps government intervention.

In order to fill the first open positions prior to its opening, the airline is now inviting former Jet cabin crew employees. When Jet achieves a particular operational scale, it will start operations with an all-female cabin crew before adding male crew members.

After receiving the go-ahead from India's aviation watchdog, the DGCA, which granted Jet its AOC on May 20th after a number of successful proving flights, the airline has accelerated its hiring drive.
