Ryanair has scheduled a Christmas-themed flight service to Finland months before the holiday. While the announcement's proximity to April Fools' Day may lead some to doubt Ryanair's intentions, the airline has set a deadline for interested passengers to take advantage of a limited-time offer.
Ryanair announced flights from Stansted to Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland, beginning November 3rd on March 31st. The four-weekly flight is being marketed as "the perfect opportunity to enjoy the journey of a lifetime to the ultimate country of holiday happiness" for the airline's winter schedule.
Ryanair, claiming to be Santa's favourite airline, indicated in a very colourful message that there's no better time to beat the flock and book a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to Lapland to celebrate Christmas in style.
The low-cost carrier is holding a limited-time seat deal, with rates starting at £19.99 for travel through January 20, 2023, subject to availability. To take up this offer, customers must visit the airline's website by midnight on Saturday, April 2nd.
Ryanair's Director of Marketing, Dara Brady, said, “It’s never too early to talk about Christmas, so we’re delighted to announce the launch of our Stansted to Rovaniemi route, operating four times per week from 3rd November as part of our UK winter 2022/2023 schedule.”
“Bring some joy to your little ones this winter with a surprise trip to the home of Christmas magic. With low fares available on Ryanair.com, put a trip to Lapland on the Christmas list this year for an experience the family will never forget.”
