Vistara Announces Delhi-Kathmandu Flight

Vistara has been expanding its international operations since August last year. Adding Kathmandu as its fifth international destination, Vistara will operate a daily flight from February 11. "The round-trip all-inclusive fares for Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi start at ₹9,999 and round-trip all-inclusive fares for Kathmandu-Delhi-Kathmandu start at NPR 16,999," said Vistara.

As noted, the flight tickets to the first Vistara Delhi-Kathmandu flight are already open for booking via Vistara's official website, mobile apps and other flight ticket booking agencies.

"We are happy to launch services to Kathmandu. The timing could not have been any better, as Nepal recently kick-started its global tourism campaign, ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020’ and prepares to welcome two million tourists this year. These factors make Kathmandu a promising addition to Vistara’s growing network," Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said in a press statement.

Vistara Expands International Presence to 5 Destinations

Vistara started its international operations in August last year. Since then, the airline has expanded to four more destinations with the fifth destination being Kathmandu. Furthermore, Vistara finished its fifth year of operations on January 9, 2020. Since the airline started its operations just five years ago, it has just over 200 daily flights which is nowhere close to IndiGo's 1,500 daily flight count. For the unaware, Vistara is currently operating to 34 domestic and international destinations. The company already announced its international expansion programme as well.
