IndiGo Lounge Services Will Offer a Premium Airport Experience With Charges Starting at Rs 575

While travelling via flight, sometimes there are a lot of waiting times involved. If you are an economy flier then you might have to spend time on the check-in counters, the mandatory security check and in such a case, the last thing you want to do is wait for your flight at the crowded boarding gates. However, if you can spend a few more bucks on a lounge service, then you can be sure to have a very luxurious time at the airport before your flight departs. Now, a lot of fliers opt for the lounge service for the services that it offers and mostly the lounges at the airport have been associated with the full-service carriers. But, it is also crucial to note that the most popular low-cost carrier of India, IndiGo also offers lounge services to its fliers through its partner lounges. Here is how IndiGo fliers can avail the lounge services.

Facilities at IndiGo Partner Lounges

Firstly, the fliers looking to avail the lounge services should know about the services that the IndiGo partner lounges will offer. At these lounges, the passengers would be able to have snacks, Hot Food & beverages, Lounge Bar, access free Internet Stations /High-speed Wi-Fi, Recharging stations for laptops, mobiles & iPads at every seating point. In addition to this, the passengers will get to experience, TV and Music entertainment, Newspapers/magazines, easily see Flight Information and Announcement and also Business centre facility (Printer/Copier/Workstation/Meeting facility). Now, although IndiGo operates a lot of destinations across India, the lounge facility with IndiGo partner lounge is available only at select airports. The airports where IndiGo offers lounge facilities include Chandigarh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Udaipur, Vadodara, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam. It is also worth noting that the lounge access charges for the passengers would start at Rs 575 and would go as high as Rs 1,500 for select lounges.

How to Book IndiGo Partner Lounges

As for the booking of the lounge facility, the passengers booking an IndiGo flight can also pre-book the lounge facility along with their ticket. There would also be other options which would include booking the lounge facility through the add-ons page on the official IndiGo website, on the confirmation email or page, promotional emails and by editing the booking. The lounge service would be available for sale up to 24 hours prior to departure for both international and domestic lounges. When the passengers book the lounge service, they would receive a separate Lounge SSR – DLNG (Special Service Request) added to it and a Lounge Access E-certificate having QR Code through e-mailer and SMS with PDF link URL.

Things to Know Before You Book IndiGo Lounge Services

The fliers should also note that they would be required to show two things at the lounge entry which would include the E-certificate (having QR Code) for Lounge Access and a valid proof of identity. IndiGo has also noted that in the case of the lounge booking, there would be no cancellation and change allowed. However, if the flight of the passenger gets cancelled then they would be notified via an email lounge e-certificate will also be cancelled with an email notification to customer and price paid for lounge will automatically get refunded for the flier. In case of flight booking changes, original lounge e-certificate will be cancelled with email notification and a new one will be issued with email notification.

IndiGo Lounge Services Pricing

As for the lounge pricing, at Chandigarh Airport, the fliers will be able to access The Cram Bar for Rs 800 at the Domestic Terminal and for Rs 1,400 at the International Terminal. At the CSIA Mumbai airport, the fliers will have the option of Oasis Lounge at the Domestic T1B terminal for Rs 1,000 access fee and Loyalty Lounge-Clipper at the International Terminal T2 for an access fee of Rs 1,500.
