AirAsia India Goa, Chennai Flights From Mumbai To Start From October 27

India’s budget carrier AirAsia India has announced flight services to Goa and Chennai from Mumbai, starting from October 27, 2019. The airline has also increased the frequency between Mumbai and Delhi to four times a day.

Commenting on the new service, Sanjay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of AirAsia India said, “We recently set up Mumbai as our fourth hub and have now increased frequency to Delhi from the city to four times daily. We have also introduced direct flights to Goa and Chennai from Mumbai.”

Mumbai is one of the luring locations for airlines, primarily due to the growing passenger traffic of the city. AirAsia India plans to increase the services from Mumbai to other parts of the country soon.

This is the third new service announcement from AirAsia India since October 15, after its relocation of operations to the domestic terminal (T1) of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

AirAsia India recently announced its plans to start daily flight services on Delhi-Jaipur route from October 20, 2019. The flight will leave Delhi airport at 10.35 am and arrive in Jaipur airport at 11.45 am. The return flight will depart at 12.15 pm from Jaipur and arrive at 1.25 pm at Delhi airport. The ticket fare for this route starts at Rs 1,315.

Besides, the airline announced flights from Agartala to various destinations like Kolkata, Guwahati, New Delhi, and Imphal from October 20. The tickets on these routes start at Rs 1,019 on this route.

Bookings on all newly announced routes are available on AirAsia India’s website www.airasia.com. The passenger can also book the tickets through AirAsia mobile app or via OTAs.

AirAsia India currently flies to 20 domestic destinations. It has a fleet size of 23 Airbus A32O planes. AirAsia India is a joint venture between Tata Sons Limited and AirAsia Investment Limited.
