Emirates revealed its ambitions to deploy NFTs and enter the Metaverse this week. Emirates plans to invest $10 million in the digital world, primarily for the benefit of its consumers and staff.

The airline "plans to develop signature brand experiences in the Metaverse, alongside both collector and utility-based NFTs," according to the release.

According to reports, the first projects are in the works and will be released in the following months.

Leading American investment banks have also shown their enthusiasm for the Metaverse. JPMorgan predicted a $1 trillion Metaverse in February.
