International Flights From India To UAE Resumes Today

International flights between India and UAE are all set to start operating from today. The decision was taken after India and UAE allowed their airlines to carry passengers between the countries. Passengers who have a valid work permit in the UAE are only allowed to take these International flights. Currently, only the Indians who are stuck in the UAE are allowed to fly back to India. Passengers are not allowed to travel from the UAE. In the same manner, a carrier from the UAE cannot take passengers from Gulf countries to India. People from across the nation who have a legal residence permit of the UAE took to Social Media complaining about the shortness of flights between the countries. International Flights were earlier suspended on March 23 by India due to the global outbreak of COVID-19.

International Flights Between India And UAE To Operate From July 12 To July 26

The Etihad Airways said that they will operate their International Flights between July 12 and July 26. The airline will operate these flights under the special flights category. Flights from the Etihad Airways will operate between Abu Dhabi and 6 Indian cities. The Indian cities to which Etihad will fly to are - Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kochi.

Emirates Airlines is also set to fly their special flights starting from July 12 until July 26. Flights from Emirates will operate between Dubai and five Indian cities. As per the reports, the five cities from which Emirates will fly to are - Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai and Thiruvananthpuram. International flights from Emirates will only carry those Indian citizens who are stuck in the UAE due to the lockdown imposed because of COVID-19 outbreak.

The SpiceJet airlines said that they will operate their International flights between India and the UAE starting from July 12 until July 26. The international flights from SpiceJet will operate from four cities in India to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The four Indian cities from which SpiceJet will fly to Ras Al Khaimah are - Delhi, Mumbai, Kozhikode and Kochi.
