Air India Mumbai to Hubballi Service
As mentioned above, Air India will be using its Airbus to fly three times a week in the Mumbai to Hubballi route. The three days of the week on which the airline will operate in the concerned route are — Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. When Air India first started this flight service, it is worth noting that it used to operate flights four days a week in the route compared to three times now. The number of flights is not less given the current situation of the aviation sector in India. The same has been confirmed by Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Coals and Mines. He said that Air India would operate the flights (Airbus) between Mumbai and Hubballi three times a week starting February 16, 2021.Joshi is really happy with Air India resuming this service since it stands to benefit the citizens of both the cities. For the unaware, Hubballi is a small town in Karnataka which is a commercial hub for the state and considered as important for its economy. The air services in the city were started under the UDAN scheme of the government. Air India needs as many flights as possible to scale its revenues so that its disinvestment process becomes easier for the government. The airline is also connecting other smaller cities and routes which are underserved so that better trade connectivity can be facilitated throughout the country. The bookings for Air India flights between Mumbai and Hubballi will be available on the website of the airline and other booking portals as well. The Air India has introduced flights (AirBus) between Hubballi and Mumbai 3 days a week , Every Tuesday , Friday and Saturday. Flights service will start from February 16th. I am sure it will benefit the people of both the cities. Thank you @airindiain pic.twitter.com/LCXZPVnp7L
