At the conclusion of the first quarter, Irish lessor Avolon revealed that it still had 10 owned aircraft in Russia.
Prior to February 27, the firm claims to have had 14 owned and two managed single-aisle aircraft on lease to Russian clients.
It continues, "Leasing of these aircraft to those Russian lessees has been terminated in line with European Union sanction requirements."
According to Avolon, the 10 remaining owned aircraft in Russia account for less than 1% of the company's total portfolio worth, excluding security deposits and maintenance reserves.
Utair, Pobeda, S7 Airlines, Yamal, and NordStar were among the lessor's prior Russian customers.
Avolon has a fleet of over 590 aircraft that it manages or owns.
In the first quarter, the company completed 54 lease contracts and delivered six aircraft to four clients. In addition, the lessor sold three aircraft and had preliminary arrangements to sell 35 others.
