A few days back, Vistara announced that it would start flying to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 20, 2021, and it has kept that promise. In a release, the airline confirmed its first flight in the Delhi-Sharjah route today. All the flights in the upcoming days on the route will be operated under the air bubble agreement between India and UAE. Sharjah will mark the airline’s second destination in UAE, the first being Dubai. The airline operates four flights per week to Dubai from Delhi — more details on the story ahead.
Vistara Flights to Sharjah From Delhi and Mumbai
It is worthy to note that Vistara will be using its Airbus A320neo aircraft for flying to Sharjah from India which has a configuration of three different cabin-classes. With this service, Vistara will become the only airline in this route to offer passengers an option for travelling in the Premium Economy class in addition to Economy and Business Classes.
The Delhi to Sharjah flight has started today, whereas, on January 24, 2021, the airline will also commence Mumbai to Sharjah flight. Here is how the schedule will look like.
Firstly, the Delhi to Sharjah flight (UK 267) which has started today departed from Delhi at 3:30 AM and reached Sharjah at 6 AM. Then a return flight (UK 268) from Sharjah departed at 7 AM to reach Delhi at 12:35 PM. This schedule will continue daily until January 26. On January 27, the departing flight (UK 267) from Delhi will take off at 2:30 AM and reach Sharjah at 5 AM while the return flight (UK 268) will depart from Sharjah at 6 AM and reach Delhi at 11:35 AM.
On January 24, Vistara will start another flight service to Sharjah from Mumbai. The first flight (UK 253) from Mumbai will depart at 4:40 PM and arrive Sharjah at 6:30 PM. Then the return flight (UK 254) from Sharjah will take off at 7:30 PM and reach Mumbai at 12:05 AM.
The Delhi to Sharjah flight service will be there from January 20 to January 27, 2021, and the Mumbai to Sharjah will be there from January 24 to January 27, 2021.
