Web Stories

Vistara is arguably one of the most innovative airlines in India. In a very short span of time, the airline has managed to garner a good chunk of the aviation market in India. Its customers are loyal and love the airline’s services. At the moment, travelling is a risky affair for one’s health. Every airline is looking to make the travel as healthy, hygienic, and safe as possible for its customers. In its efforts to do the same Vistara has launched Vistara two seats policy. The two-seats policy will help customers in maintaining social distancing which is the need of the hour.

Vistara Two Seats Policy

Vistara has recently launched its two seats policy. According to the policy, if a passenger wants, he/she can book two seats for themselves. The second seat can be the one right next to the passenger's original seat. This would mean that no one else can fly on that seat. But now many would question, while it may help with social distancing, why would anyone pay for another seat just to leave it empty. It doesn’t make a lot of sense.

But this is where the advantage of the policy kicks in.

The passenger doesn’t need to pay any extra money for his/her second booking like they do with their first booking. They will just have to pay for the base fare and GST, nothing else. This is to ensure that customers who want that extra layer of protection while travelling, they are provided with it for their comfort.

Survey Results

Vistara recently conducted a survey to understand how many of its customers want to travel in the near future. According to the results, 65% of the voters said that they will take their flights within the next six months. Whereas 57% of the Club Vistara Elite (Gold or Platinum tier) members said they will fly as early as in the next month. These customers will get to enjoy the Vistara two-seats policy firsthand. It will be interesting to see how long Vistara keeps the offer up.
