Sports Equipment Handling Service:

IndiGo passengers can now pre-book and carry sports equipment along with baggage. If pre-booked, passengers can enjoy discounted rates and avoid paying more at the airport. Passengers can pre-pay handling fees for up to three items of Sports equipment (including the list below) per passenger per journey online.

Things to Know:

  1. The service is available for both domestic and international sectors.
  2. Passengers can book the service through IndiGo's website either at the time of booking or until two hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.
  3. The service is not available on ATR aircraft or to passengers holding 'Lite Fare' tickets.
  4. The weight of sports equipment will count towards the calculation of the passenger's permissible baggage allowance and standard excess baggage charges.

IndiGo Bolsters Connectivity Between India and Middle East With 6 New Flights

To strengthen its international connectivity, IndiGo has announced a new daily direct flight from Hyderabad - Riyadh along with additional frequencies on Hyderabad - Doha and Mangalore - Dubai routes starting 30th October 2022. This new route and additional frequencies will enhance connectivity between India and Middle East. These routes are operated with an Airbus A320.
